THEME: cropped/detailed ‘bodyscape’ views of folded, overlapping, angular figure poses

TYPE: Uninstructed online practice/work using live poses by male figure model, streamed from studio with pro lighting, dark background, HD camera (1 view). This session of the theme is all-ages, so model will be semi-nude but draped and/or posed as needed for modesty. A nude session with different poses but same theme will also be available for 18+ attendees.

NOTES: Session may be canceled/refunded if there are not at least 2 registrations by an hour prior to start, so please register in advance. The goal of this session is to challenge you with handling detailed anatomical views that involve “realistic” expressive gestures which are often more collapsed and overlapping than we typically do in art classes. The list of things for which virtual sessions may be ‘better’ than in-person ones is a short one, but this may be among them. 

STILLS/SCREENSHOTS: Beginning 2024 I will provide live session attendees with stills from the session poses for free (via email afterwards).  If you inform me that you’re interested by session start, I can usually provide HD still captures (clearer than Zoom). Donations for screenshots/stills are customary and appreciated but not required, especially for college students.
