Hope very fine and well!

About me, I'm super happy to send this email because what I'm telling you is very emotional for me.

And of course it's about my online lifedrawingsessions. In this case the themed events!

You know my own "rule" from 2020, since I started the experience of the online poses, is not to propose the same theme for two times in order to give to all of you the biggest art proposal searching, discovering, studying, exploring, experimenting something different. Everytime! 

In this case, introducing the upcoming new themed session, one unforgettable female artist will be the wonderful exception that proves the rule!

The only one TINA MODOTTI will be the absolute protagonist of the 3rd August online lifedrawingsession and you will have the opportunity to draw not only me but also my "partner in crime", the professional model Vanessa Montoya.

Yes! Two models! We will be two to perform with our art and our poses Tina Modotti's world. Her two souls. Her two main homelands...In fact I come from Italy and Vanessa is from Mexico. We will give substance to Tina as a Queen of two worlds!

Tina Modotti was an actress, a model, a photographer and lived a very intense life.

She was born in Italy, (August 16/17, 1896-Udine) and died (probably killed) when she was only 45 years old ( 5 January 1942 Mexico City).

She left Italy in 1913 and moved to the USA, where she worked as a model and subsequently as a photographer...

While in Los Angeles, Tina met the photographer Edward Weston and his creative partner Margrethe Mather.
It was through her relationship with Weston that Modotti developed as an important fine art photographer and documentarian.
By 1921, Modotti was Weston's lover...

This was only the beginning of a great career as model, assistant in the darkroom and photographer...
