Joaquin Alberto Vargas y Chávez (1896 – 1982) is regarded as one of the foremost iconic painters of pin-up girls.
Famed for his 1940's pin-ups created for Esquire magazine, artwork inspired by these 'Vargas girls' featured heavily on the artwork decorating allied aircraft in WW2.
A master of depicting the female form, his creations were glamorous, brash and sexually alluring and inspired the work of numerous artists.
Our muse for this session will be Turris Eburnea a professional and highly regarded art model who will be lovingly bringing to life these stunning artworks for our drawing delectation.
